1. Using the service
My Life Dashboard provides tools for organizing classes, assignments, tasks, calendars, and personal plans. Features may vary by plan, platform, provider availability, and release stage. Sample screens contain demonstration information, not your personal records.
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and activity you authorize through your account. Only connect accounts and upload information that you have permission to use. Do not share credentials or access another person’s account.
The service is intended for people aged 13 and older. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to the final terms on your behalf where required by law. The service is not directed to children under 13.
2. Your content and our software
You retain ownership of the notes, tasks, assignments, and other content you add. You give the operator permission to host, store, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the features you choose, maintain the service, and meet legal obligations. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content.
The My Life Dashboard name, logo, software, and original interface remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy or resell the service, interfere with its security, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property rights, or use it to send spam or unlawful content. Rights that applicable law gives you are preserved.
3. Calendars, email, and other providers
Connecting an external account is optional. A connection requires the provider’s authorization and may be restricted by your school or account administrator. The permissions shown during authorization determine the access requested. Disconnecting a provider stops the app’s use of the saved connection; you may also need to remove access in the provider’s security settings.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Syncing can be delayed, incomplete, interrupted, or unavailable. Confirm important deadlines, class changes, and messages with the original source. My Life Dashboard is not affiliated with or endorsed by your school, Google, Microsoft, or Apple solely because it supports their services.
Any automated or AI-assisted feature may make mistakes. Review its output before relying on it. It does not replace academic, medical, legal, or financial advice. The final privacy notice must explain what information is processed, by whom, and how you can exercise your privacy rights; these terms do not substitute for that notice or for specific consent.
4. Plans, trials, and recurring billing
Creating a free account does not by itself authorize a payment. Paid features require a separate purchase. The checkout screen must show the price, currency, billing interval, taxes where applicable, trial end date, and renewal terms before you authorize a subscription.
The current advertised web offer is a seven-day Plus trial followed by either US$11.99 per month or US$67.90 per year, based on the billing option selected at checkout. A payment method is required for the trial offer. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the selected price and interval until canceled. Other offers or app-store purchases may have different terms, which must be shown before purchase.
For a web subscription, use the plan control in your account to open the billing portal and cancel future renewals. If you purchase through Apple, manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple subscription settings. Deleting an app or signing out does not cancel a subscription. Cancel the subscription before deleting your account so you can confirm the cancellation with the billing provider.
The cancellation confirmation explains when paid access ends. Refund eligibility is subject to applicable law and, for an app-store purchase, the store’s refund process. These terms do not exclude statutory refund rights. Any changes to recurring prices or material billing terms must be disclosed in advance, with any consent required by law.
5. Closing your account
You may stop using the service at any time. You can download your dashboard data through Settings and request account deletion through Profile. Save anything you need before deleting your account. Deleting an account does not remove copies held independently by your connected providers or cancel a subscription managed by an app store.
The operator may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Where practical and lawful, you should receive notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Data retention and deletion exceptions must be described in the final privacy notice.
6. Availability and your legal rights
The service may change, experience outages, or contain errors. Keep your own copies of important information and verify time-sensitive commitments. No particular grade, academic result, or uninterrupted availability is promised.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional implied warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes a guarantee, remedy, liability, or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded. The final agreement must identify the operator and the applicable governing law; this draft does not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a contractual damages cap.
7. Changes and questions
Material changes to the final terms should be communicated before they take effect, with renewed agreement where required. Changes will not retroactively remove rights that already arose.
The operator’s legal name and public support contact are pending confirmation. These details and the final privacy notice will be added before this draft becomes effective.
